Program Details

The Winkler Senior Choir is a voluntary choral progam for seniors in
southern Manitoba. There are two sessions of approximately 12 weeks:
one in fall, and the other from February through April. Repertoire varies
from very easy to somewhat challenging. The Winkler Senior Choir
participates in the DKSM concerts at the end of each session,
collaborating with the string progams and with Con Brio.

Rehearsals are held at the Maranatha Fellowship, 175 1st Street in Winkler
every Tuesday at 10 a.m. There are no auditions. We make room for any
seniors who wish to sing.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

DKSM is grateful to teach, learn, and play music on Treaty 1 territory, the ancestral homelands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and on the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. We are thankful for the benefits sharing this land has afforded us and we commit to being part of the ongoing process of reconciliation through our programs.
